"It Wasn't Until I Bought Twelve Beef Jerky Sticks That I Realized I Had a Problem": Drury Hotel Ads Rip Off Up in the Air, Sort Of

Yes, it's true, George Clooney, er, Ryan Bingham would never stay in a Drury Inn. (They don't have luxurious terry cloth robes for him to wear after burrito-ing Vera Farmiga in the sofa cushions.) He would also never hoard his per diem food allowance to save up for a Himalayan. And he certainly would never dine on convenience store beef jerky.

Nonetheless, the local hotel chain is trying to capitalize on our city's great contribution to the world of the business traveler. In Up in the Air, Clooney shows us how it's done in style. In the ad "Convenience Store Suppers", Drury shows us how it's done on a budget. (Spoiler: It involves the new 5:30 Kickback special.) The results are pretty entertaining -- until the close-up of the charbroiled meatballs.
