St. Louis police last week nabbed the men they believe are responsible for an early-morning attack that left one man dead and another critically injured.
The incident occurred around 4 a.m. July 12 when police were called to the 2000 block of Madison in north city. There they discovered
Ralph Hill, 26, dead on the street -- the victim of multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body. A second victim was found alive, shot in the arms and legs, in a nearby apartment.
On September 16 the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged two men with those shootings: 19-year-old
Jessie Hampton of the 800 block of Elias and 19-year-old
Malcolm Johnson of the 1100 block of Victoria. Both teens have been charged with first-degree murder, assault and armed-criminal action. They're being held without bond.
