Naomi Klein kicks off Washington University's Spring 2009 Assembly Series tomorrow at Graham Chapel.

The controversial author and activist is making the stop on the heels of her critically acclaimed 2007 best-seller, "The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism." Not surprising, Klein's talk tomorrow will focus on the present and future of capitalism, which the Canadian journalist sees as inherently flawed.

Klein routinely takes on other pet peeves, including globalization and the free market's penchant for preying on the unfortunate, in her syndicated columns appearing in The Nation and The Guardian.

Tomorrow's talk begins at 11 a.m. and is free and open to the public. Klein just wouldn't have it any other way.
