Man Shot 14 Times in Kinloch Drive-By

Police say a 22-year-old man was walking in the 5500 block of Smith Court in Kinloch on Wednesday afternoon when a car drove slowly by him. At the end of the block the car looped back around -- apparently for the kill. Two passengers opened fire on the pedestrian, hitting him with an astonishing 14 shots. Even more astonishing is the fact that the man is still alive; he was taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate the attack. No information has been released concerning the description of the shooters or a motive for the assault.
