Residents near Page and Skinker heard gunshots around 11 p.m. Friday night, but it wasn't until neighbors nearly tripped over a body hours later that police were notified.

Michael Cole: St. Louis Homicide No. 6; Shot To Death Inside Home

According to St. Louis police, 34-year-old Michael Cole was gunned down inside his residence late Friday in the 5900 block of Plymouth (above). Around 1:45 a.m. Saturday neighbors returning home to Cole's apartment discovered the body and placed a call to authorities. An investigation is ongoing.
