FERVENT REQUEST
Show Davis the door: Dear People of O'Fallon, Missouri, and elsewhere in Cynthia Davis' district: Please vote this whackjob out of office ["Bill Requires Doctors to Alert Prosecutors When Teens Seek Abortion," Chad Garrison]. She is absolutely insane, and she makes your town look like Jesusland, Missouri.
Thanks, Normal People of Missouri.

Don't tread on me: You have no idea what you are talking about, Rep. Davis. This is partly why I did not vote for you. I'm loved, very well cared for and married. However, if I were to become pregnant, I would choose to get an abortion because there is no way we could properly care for a child and because it is my right! A lot of courageous men and women fought for my right to choose what I do to my own body. For you to sponsor a bill that effectively says that I'm damaged or unnatural for choosing the best option for myself and my family is not only wrong, but it's a slap in the face to elected officials who voted to honor that right over 30 years ago.

LOESCH LASHING
The things that come out of her mouth: I hope Dana keeps going on cable news shows and continues talking about how she would like to abolish Social Security ["Larry King Shuts Up Dana Loesch," Chad Garrison]. It's almost as if she's a double agent working for the Democratic Party from inside the Tea Party movement. Lots of luck. Keep grabbing the third rail, Dana, and see where it gets you!

Stands to reason: Crazy people say crazy things. More at 11.

IT'S (NOT) MILLER TIME
Say good night, Glenn: Somewhere right now, Glenn Miller is secretly facepalming, having already lost the election before he even got started ["Video: KKK Leader and U.S. Senate Hopeful From Mo. Talks 'Inferior Races,'" Chad Garrison]. Epic Fail! I can already see him running against John Burns (from Citizens for Better Transit who thinks that disabled people should go out driving) for Ass Clown of the Week.

DUMB RULING
It will not stand: What a ridiculous decision by the district court ["St. Louis Wins Decision vs. Eminent Domain Mural," Chad Garrison]. The city can't pick and choose the kinds of messages or symbols it will permit. I can't wait to see the circuit court pick apart the district court's reasoning.

DIG THIS
Hurry, get him a shovel: This is absolutely retarded ["Tweakers 'n Diggers," Nicholas Phillips]. Why the hell shouldn't people be allowed to dig for artifacts? What the hell is the point of leaving them in the ground? If there's stuff to be found, then people should be able to look for it. These laws are useless. Thanks to this article, I'm probably going to make a trip to the Mark Twain National Forest to do some digging of my own. I want to find some cool shit, and maybe I'll bring some legal stimulants to give me extra energy. Thanks, RFT!

White trash: Looters destroy the context of archaeological sites, which may be the worst thing they do. We'll never have a chance to know about past cultures and lifestyles when white trash human excrement like Ronnie Dobbs break the law and destroy the cultural heritage that belongs to everybody and not just the property owner or the government.

BLACKOUT IN LADUE
Ladue's big La Don't: As a former employee of a business in Ladue, I can verify that racism is very much present among the business leaders there ["Former Ladue Police Chief Claims City Leaders Wanted Him to Target Blacks," Chad Garrison]. In at least two gas stations, a cup of ice or water was free for whites but cost 25 cents for blacks. Local police often made racist jokes and bragged about how many blacks they harassed. The country club had an unwritten rule that the only blacks they would let in were those that washed the dishes or parked the cars.
