Patrons Robbed at Gunpoint Inside Riley's Pub

A gunman held up patrons inside Riley's Pub (3458 Arsenal Street, 314-664-7474) on Saturday night, police say.

A St. Louis police spokesman said the incident happened inside the Tower Grove East pub around 10:25 p.m. on November 25. He said the suspect fled the scene on foot.

There were no reported injuries.

The police rep couldn't say whether the gunman also took the cash register at the bar, which is located on a quite block of Arsenal just east of Tower Grove Park.

The bar's owners did not return a call seeking comment yesterday. A classic corner bar, Riley's offers high-backed booths and frequent nights of live Irish music.
