Phylida Edwards: Woman Charged with Shooting at Repo Men

Phylida Edwards

A woman from the Caste Point neighborhood of north St. Louis County was charged yesterday with armed criminal action following a Saturday shooting.

Phylida Edwards, of the 10000 block of Baron Drive, allegedly shot at two repo men October 23 while they were repossessing her 2004 Chevrolet Venture minivan. The employees of Metropolitan Repossession and Recovery reportedly identified themselves before taking the vehicle, but that wasn't enough to stop Edwards from firing off a few rounds in their direction.

Edwards allegedly told police she was just trying to shoot out the tires of the van.
