Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of America's new favorite princess Kate Middleton, is pedaling through St. Louis Wednesday on a 3,000-mile bicycle race.

Middleton is on an eight-member team of mostly British cyclists crossing the country on two wheels for the Race Across America. The team is raising funds for the British Heart Foundation and the Michael Matthews Foundation, a children's charity.

According to race timetables, Middleton's team will roll into Camdenton around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and continue on to Jefferson City, Washington, Wentzville, O'Fallon and St. Peters before crossing the Mississippi River at Alton just before 11 p.m. Times can change, but you can keep track of the team's progress on the Race Across America site.

Middleton's Midwest arrival threw St. Louis' media into a bit of a tizzy, though it may not actually be the Duchess of Cambridge's sister who ends up biking across Missouri. The race is relay-style, so only one team member rides at a time.

Middleton and her team started the race in California on Saturday. They'll ride 3,000 miles to Annapolis, Maryland, arriving on or after June 20.
