Police Seek Information on Attempted Bank Robber

CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for a felony conviction in an attempted robbery this morning at a Commerce Bank. A woman entered the Commerce Bank in Richmond Heights (7901 Clayton Road) this morning at 9:45 a.m. and presented a note to a teller that demanded money. The note further indicated that she was armed, but she did not brandish a weapon. She left without taking any money.

The suspect is a black woman with a medium-to-dark complexion in her mid-20s to early-30s, 5'2" to 5'6" tall, and weighs roughly 140-to-160 lbs. Anyone with information on her identity is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
