KENNY G TO PERFORM AT THE FAMILY ARENA DECEMBER 11
LOS ANGELES, NOVEMBER 8, 2007 - Internationally celebrated recording artist Kenny G – acclaimed as the biggest-selling instrumental musician and biggest-selling jazz musician of the modern era, with total global sales of more than 75 million albums, singles and videos over the past 24 years (45 million in the U.S. alone) will be performing one night only at the The Family Arena on December 11.
Kenny G will perform familiar songs from some of his best-selling albums including: I’m In The Mood For Love, Gravity, Duotones and Breathless. In addition, Kenny will bring holiday cheer to fans with a collection of songs off his holiday albums The Greatest Holiday Classics, Miracles, Wishes and Faith.
Kenny recently traveled to China where he performed at the Special Olympics closing ceremony in Shanghai. Following the event, Kenny spent an additional week in China where he attended the Music China Tradeshow and debuted to the world the G-Series saxophone. Kenny is currently putting the finishing touches on his February release and debut album for Concord Music Group Rhythm and Romance.
It is Kenny G’s innate ability to create and set different moods with his music that has made him such an enduring force and earned him Grammy, American Music, Soul Train, World Music and NAACP Image Awards as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
