Quincy Miner: 18-Year-Old Charged in Murder of Nigel Hightower, 15

Quincy Miner

The St. Louis County prosecutor's office today issued warrants on Quincy Miner, charging the 18-year-old with second-degree murder and armed-criminal action in the murder Monday of Nigel Hightower.

Hightower, 15, was found shot near a bus stop at the intersection of Ferguson and Raymond avenues in Pagedale. The University City teenager was later pronounced dead a the hospital.

Police believe robbery may have been a motive in Hightower's killing. Miner, of the 4700 block of Highland in north St. Louis, is being held on a $300,000 bond.
