Hey, you got plans for Friday night? Wanna go to the
River City Rumble at the Family Arena (2002 Arena Parkway, St. Charles;
www.familyarena.com)? This inaugural event features local Guns 'n' Hoses boxing teams facing off in three-round
bouts against teams from Evansville, Witchita, and New
York. It's from the same promoters who arrange the Guns 'n' Hoses charity boxing matches between the police and fire departments every Thanksgiving. And just like G'nH, these fights are a fundraiser for Backstoppers and Responder Rescue, with a portion of the proceeds from concession sales going to the charities.
Daily RFT has 12 (twelve) tickets to a suite, which can be yours if you can correctly answer one trivia question.
But first, some ground rules.
1. You must leave an actual working email address or phone number with your answer.
2. You must not work for any regional police or fire department, the RFT or the Family Arena.
3. First correct response with contact information wins the ticket pack.
4. You must be able to pick up your tickets at the RFT before 3 p.m. Friday, July 13.
