Senate hopeful
Roy Blunt seems to have forgotten that Fox television is his friend. After all,
Fox News is suing his Democratic challenger Robin Carnahan over a commercial that ties Blunt to convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff and questions Blunt's romance with a tobacco lobbyist -- who later became his wife -- and who stood to benefit from earmarks Blunt inserted into a bill in support of Phillip Morris.
Apparently, though, the love between Blunt and Fox exists only on the network level. Blunt is still allowed to treat local Fox affiliates, such as KTVI Channel 2 in St. Louis, as filthy street beggars.
Observe the following clip, in which Blunt hastily leaves a question-and-answer session following last Friday's debate at the Lake of the Ozarks and scolds KTVI reporter
Betsy Bruce for daring to ask him for a quick interview.
Blunt's rebuke of Bruce comes at the two-minute mark...
