But with Missouri's March 15 presidential primary just around the corner, it was inevitable that the candidates would weigh-in via Twitter on the ideological slugfest.

Senator Bernie Sanders' campaign struck first with a tweet that managed to echo his populist appeal, while amplifying the outrage of Maria Chappelle-Nadal, one of the Democratic senators leading the filibuster.
About an hour later, Hillary Clinton's campaign tweeted support for the filibuster as well. So, basically, if we vote for Cruz, all state-level filibusters will be crushed with an iron fist. Or something.
And what of the Drumpf? Although the actual, real-life, stop-pinching-yourself-this-is-not-a-sick-joke presumptive Republican presidential nominee is speaking in St. Louis tomorrow, Donald Trump has so far made no direct mention of the filibuster.
However, Trump did take time during his rambling victory speech/infomercial following his Tuesday primary victories to tout his credentials as a "good Christian." So, you know, take that however you want to, because Trump probably doesn't give a shit either way.
