According to the description on eBay, the owners are behind on the balloon note they used to finance the project and must sell immediately. I hate hearing about anyone forced to sell their home these days, but this tale is especially sad considering how much effort and enthusiasm the owners obviously poured into the home. Bidding begins at $300,000.
The property's whopping 17,000 square feet includes three cave chambers, one of which was once the staging ground for music concerts. Ted Nugent, Bob Seeger, and Ike and Tina Turner all supposedly performed in the cave at one time. The house includes three bedrooms and two baths. It's heated and cooled by geothermal currents and gets its water from an underground spring.
The cave even has its own Web site, www.caveland.us.
