"Special" Meeting Tonight Likely to Touch on Crystal City Smelter

The Crystal City Planning & Zoning Committee will hold a "special" meeting tonight ostensibly to discuss a controversial smelter project slated for construction in the Jefferson County municipality.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall and is expected include a public comment session, although those who wish to speak must sign in beforehand and state the subject they intend to discuss. Comments will be limited to five minutes.
