A 76-year-old man who was found dead in his home on July 10 has been confirmed as the County's fourth victim of this summer's relentless heat. The man, who lived in the 700 block of Military Drive in Lemay, was found by his son. His brick home had no central air, and while a window unit was present, it was not operational. The interior temperature of the home was estimated at 90 to 95 degrees.
The heat-related death toll for the region now stands at 25 this summer.
