A St. Louis couple will spend a combined eight years in prison and pay more than $1 million in restitution for selling over-the-counter drugs and other items stolen from Walgreens and CVS pharmacies at their Clifton Heights store.
Christian Ounanian and Gina Vogel paid people to steal from drug stores so they could sell the goods at their own shop, Xtra Wholesale, 6008 Southwest Avenue, near Sublette Park, between 2007 and September 2012, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
U.S. District Judge Stephen Limbaugh sentenced Ounanian, 43, to 63 months in prison Wednesday. Vogel, 38, was sentenced to 42 months in prison in March. The couple will also have to pay $1,008,890 in restitution.
