Schools are canceled, and the flakes are still coming down. Here are the most recent snowfall totals from the
National Weather Service:
According to the weather service, St. Louis picked up seven inches of snow at Forest Park. In my sliver of south-central St. Louis, I'm seeing about five inches (though I'm not going outside with a ruler to provide you an official measurement). Collinsville, Illinois, had the most snow, getting an even twelve inches, according to the National Weather Service.
The white stuff will continue to taper off this morning without much more accumulation. A second band of snow, however, should hit areas south of Interstate 44 later today.
