What!?! Made in China!
Earlier this week Daily RFT reported on the recently launched website crap2congress.com, which allows angry citizens to send plastic, non-toxic turds to their least favorite congressmen or senators.

In our interview with Martin Branch, spokesman for the St. Louis-based website, we asked him where he got his fake poop and whether it would come at the expense of plastic-non-toxic-crap-making Americans.

Absolutely not, said Branch. "The crap is made right here in the United States."

Imagine our surprise then when crap2congress.com sent us some fake poop (pictured here) as a thank you for our article. There in all caps on the back of the turd were the words: MADE IN CHINA.

WTF?

"I'm so sorry!," responds Branch in a phone call hours after we left a message with crap2congress.com demanding an explanation. "I know we were looking for a U.S. manufacturer, and I thought we had found one. We have not. That was my mistake. I feel terrible about it."

But hey, according to Branch, it's just one more reason to send fake poop to politicians. "All our manufacturing jobs have been outsourced. This is just another example," he says.

Yep, you know it's sad times in America when a willing worker just can't get a job making faux doo-doo. Sigh.

P.S. If you're a plastic-poop manufacturer here in the U.S.A., please send crap2congress an email. They'd love to hear from you.
