When it comes to watching reality TV, I can think of about 50 things I'd rather do -- a polar bear swim, say, or a toasted-ravioli eating contest...

But I'm a sucker for veterans' causes and am thus shamelessly passing along word of HGTV's "Change The World Campaign." The home-makeover channel on cable TV has announced it will soon renovate two U.S. veterans' homes; our fair St. Louis is among eight homes/cities in contention.
