Though this week’s feature story, "OldestProfession2.0," has only been available online for a matter of hours, the reaction from the watchful and tech-savvy community of escorts and johns at stlasp.com (who comprise the article’s subject matter) has already begun.
This came last night from the site’s administrator who is interviewed in the story (emphasis hers):
“Well, The time has come, the RFT is running their article on this site on Wednesday and Thursday. The story will post on the web on Wednesday and will hit the newsstands on Thursday. I've changed our name again to Seattle Art Suppliers and stated on our front page that our site is closed. No one will be permitted new membership for 2 more months. The only thing people can see when they come to our site is "online user names". I would suggest to all that we go stealth for a couple of weeks. Go into your profile click on "hide online status" and your name will not appear on the front page as "on-line" if someone does decide to take a look. If you need help with this email Luvs or me.”
