The Post-Dispatch is reporting that Christopher Coleman told his Florida girlfriend that they'd marry in 2010. The woman's name is Tara Lintz and went to high school in Largo, Florida with Coleman's wife, Sheri.

Last week Coleman was charged with murdering Sheri and the couple's two sons, Garett and Gavin, on May 5 in the family's Columbia, Illinois, home.

The daily recently obtained search warrants in the case that state that St. Petersburg police interviewed Lintz in the days following the murder and that she admitted that she and Coleman sent sexually explicit messages to each other via cell phones, e-mail and social networking sites. The two also spoke by phone the night of May 4 -- hours before the murders.

Per the Post-Dispatch:
In the emails, Christopher talks about his extramarital relationship with Lintz," according to an affidavit filed by a detective. "He also sent emails to Lintz about plans to marry her in January, 2010, and their upcoming trip this summer."

The documents further say that Coleman created a new email account after the murders, and used it to send the girlfriend a message.

"He discussed the interview he had with the investigators concerning the death of his family. He told her, he did not commit the murders and had an alibi," an affidavit states.

P.S. Does anyone out there have any photos of Tara Lintz they'd like to share? The only one I could find online is from a Facebook account that's now closed, and I'm not even sure it's the Tara Lintz in question.
