St. Louis police have charged three men with the November 25 murder of Mauricio Ruiz, a 23-year-old man shot to death in the 4500 block of Morgansford.

Charged with first-degree murder, robbery and armed-criminal action are (from left to right): Eddie Weekly Jr., 27, of 4600 block of Ray; Marlon Johnson, 21, of the 3100 block of Chippewa; and Jarrell M. Johnson, 21, of the 4500 block of Morgansford.

Police found Ruiz's body lying face down on a parking pad off Morganford last Wednesday. He had been shot three times -- in the eye, cheek and underarm.

The next day -- Thanksgiving -- police arrested the three suspects. They remain in custody; each held on a $500.000 cash-only bond.
