This is Raja the elephant. He lives at the Saint Louis Zoo with his three daughters, Jade, Maliha and Kenzi. Today's his twentieth birthday. The zoo held a birthday party in his honor this morning. There were, of course, presents.
But what the hell do you give an elephant who (presumably) has everything?
Zookeepers and volunteers filled those enormous parcels with some of Raja's very favorite things: cereal, melons, bananas and popcorn. But no peanuts. Alas.
