Tina L. Blackwell, 34, has been charged with tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution in the murder of Sarah Billingsley-Walker, the Vashon High School valedictorian who was strangled by her boyfriend, Leonard Johnson.

KSDK reports that Johnson told Blackwell, his father's girlfriend, about Billingsley-Walker's murder and asked for help in getting rid of the evidence. Blackwell then went to the home where Billingsley-Walker's body lay and removed the girl's laptop and clothing. Blackwell and Johnson's father then disposed of these items, and the two drove Leonard Johnson to a home where he could hide from police.
