This photo is actually MUCH bigger.

To get the most comprehensive sense of just how badly mother nature body-slammed Joplin the other day, we recommend scrolling around on this page that The Atlantic just set up.

But the aerial shots at The Atlantic show a level of devastation that other images haven't been able to capture.
