Okay, I am now officially pissed. Why? Well, I'm glad you asked. I'll tell you.
A couple of days ago, I wrote about Comcast cable company
having some, er, technical issues during the Super Bowl. Well, a suitably large number of people apparently complained, so Comcast came up with the brilliant idea of fixing the problem by throwing some money at it.
According to Comcast, they are willing to offer $10 to anyone in the area the porn was broadcast in, who felt that
it "impacted" them in some way.
Wait a second, here. Just hold on a damn minute.
So
what you're telling me is that these people were watching football, all
the while stuffing their giant, perfectly round faces. They then were
treated to some completely free pornography. And now they're being paid for
this? Are you shitting me? They are literally receiving money for
watching football and porn. I have only one question, Comcast:
Where exactly do I sign up for this job?
I
mean, honestly, what the hell? How is it that this sort of thing never
happens in St. Louis? I have never once been watching a football game,
had some porn break out, and then have someone pay me for the awful
experience of having to watch it.
So if you
guys have like a Web site where I can apply for a job, that would be
great. Until then, though, Comcast, you guys can kiss off. I thought it
was bad when I just missed the porn altogether; I now have to watch as
others get paid for watching it.
This is ridiculous.
