Suspect tries to ram into cop car on Chouteau in the CWE

Maybe it's just us at Daily RFT, but it sure does seem like these crooks are getting bold. Or maybe desperate?
Around 3 am Tuesday, the cops were trying to stop a vehicle they considered suspicious in the alley of the 4500 block of Chouteau, between Kingshighway and South Taylor Avenue.
According to the police, "the driver attempted to run down the officers with his vehicle."
So at least one officer pulled out his gun.
Several shots were fired at the vehicle, which shattered its rear windshield. The car then tried to flee but ran into a tree, and the suspect was taken into custody.
