Agent, East Bank Realty
"In the '60s TV show Family Affair, little Buffy had a doll named Mrs. Beasley, and, as a little girl, that was my favorite thing, playing with the Mrs. Beasley doll. But my favorite toy now is the channel-changer. There're so many options -- up, down, volume, all the channels ... that's pretty sick when you're 41 and your favorite toy is the channel-changer."

John McCarthy
Irish Musician
"My greatest toy now and then is still the same -- what's between my legs!"

Matt Conway
Web Monkey
"It had to be a bicycle, because we would get in teams and go off exploring -- out to the airport to watch planes or down on the river with all the barges. We had battles, too, like knights jousting. Now, well, I'm staying home these days, and I just got a compound miter saw -- a chop saw -- and I'm having fun building a treehouse with tons of trim on it."

Eugene Blanding
Gus's Fashions & Shoes
"As a kid, it was a baseball and a bat. I loved to just throw the ball up and -- pow! -- see how far I could knock it away. And today? It's that damn '89 Buick over there. In that car I can be in total control of speed -- with the limitations of stop signs and red lights, of course. It's still my toy, though, and lots of fun!"

Kirk Potillo
Former Nanny
"It's the same toy all along -- a stuffed raccoon named Poppytillo. My grandpa gave it to me when I was three, and it's still on my bed. Y'know, I've had lots of toys, and I never thought much of them. That's the one thing that's stayed with me. If you saw it, you'd know I've had it a while."

Maureen Walker
Manager, Zany Brainy
"Right now, it's Groovy Girls dolls -- I love them! They're colorful and cute and, unlike Barbie, anyone can aspire to that body shape. When I was a kid, my favorite toy was a pogo stick, because, well, I was good at it and also because it was outside and it was up and down, up and down."
