Hello? Is It Me You're Looking For?: Craigslist Missed Connections, Week of 10/27-11/2

Posted By on Mon, Nov 3, 2008 at 10:29 AM

(Welcome to Hello? Is It Me You're Looking For? Each Monday, we'll scour the local Missed Connections section of Craigslist, in search of the best posts. Here are some that caught our eye this week.)

Hindsight is 20/20: remember how excited we were to see McCain speak?? - w4m - 2: "What the hell were we thinking? Anyway, I was just wondering how you are these days. Who would have thought that 10+ years later our country would be this much of a mess. And now I'd never admit that I supported a republican when I was young and dumb! Tell me where we saw him and who went with us......I'd love to catch up with you."

Honesty is the best policy: You look awful - w4m (S.City 6311) "You look so unhappy. You are fatter and hairier than ever. If you weren't such an ass I would feel bad for you. It has got to suck waking up next to that ugly face everyday. But atleast there is the rent money."

File Under "Special Delivery?": Nurse at Humphrey's Costume Contest 10/29 - m4w (Humphrey's) "I stopped you as you were coming out of the bathroom because I thought I was your mailman. I feel stupid even posting this but you were very attractive. Not sure if you were with one of the guys at your table. If you see this and you're interested email me and tell me what color my hat was."

If the Stiletto Fits... Cougar at Lindbergh Library - m4w (West County) "You were at the computers this afternoon at the Lindbergh Library. 40something? Maybe tiny bit older, in brown dress and great animal print stiletto boots. I noticed you were not wearing a ring. Could that mean you are single? I was the tall guy in black blazer, would love to take you out if you are availible and would not mind a younger man. Drop me a note. You made my day!"

Springsteen Fan? Or Bad High School Poet? >>>>>>>>...........brilliant disguise (calling your name) you've never told me why or what happened. you handled me so wrong. do you handle hurt better than i do? make yourself colder. i'll never know as for me, i can already see where im going. there's this place i've heard about where good girls can go when they finally don't give a shit about 'good' & 'right' anymore. i see all of those guys that want me home with the one who's obsessed with me an email from the one that lusts for me and tonight i might see you the one that bled me the thoughts of you that led me to doubt that self-restraint or faith ever played a part in anyone's heart and you know that one guy that you dont get along with... he's relentless. and i hate everything so much right now that i believe it would actually feel good to let him finally have his way with me (i mean) my body, that is. done with you how? if there was a part of me to care and be cared for your 'joyunspeakable' i'm burning it up to strive to be just another lovely fuck.

before i strike this match and let him have his way with me please stop me you know the look that will make me stop and think about what the hell i'm doing. please
