You Buy the Beers, Mayor Slay Will Cover the Parking

Posted By on Wed, Jan 14, 2009 at 12:19 PM

Must have been "beer-thirty" on "Casual Friday" last week when Mayor Francis Slay dreamed up his latest initiative. According to his blog, Slay is proposing meter-free parking downtown beginning each workday after 4 p.m. The mayor is calling the program "Happy Hour" parking.

Below see RFT's exclusive video of Slay and the boys shot minutes before they hatched the happy-hour parking initiative.
