A few weeks back I wrote about an unusual house for sale on eBay. The home in Festus, Missouri, is built inside an old sand mine. As the story goes, the couple who built the home financed it with a balloon note and could no longer keep up with the expanding payments.

Well, this one has a happy ending. Today the Associated Press reports that the family was able to re-finance their dwelling and won't have to move out after all. Ain't that sweet?
