So You Wanna Be an "It Girl" (Or Guy), Too

Posted By on Thu, Apr 16, 2009 at 12:00 PM

To the legions of tall, skinny girls with amazing metabolisms who read last September's feature on St. Louis model managers Jeff and Mary Clarke and some of their clients, including Karlie Kloss and Katie Fogarty, and thought, well, damn, I can wear high heels and walk and I strike poses in front of my bedroom mirror, like, all the time:

Here's your chance. This Saturday, April 18, the Clarkes are holding an open casting call from 1-3 p.m. at The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis in Clocktower Plaza. They're looking for girls 13-23 who are taller than 5'8" and guys 16-23 between 5'11" and 6'2". (Note: in fashion, female models are always "girls".) Don't bother to dress up or slather on the makeup. The Clarkes want to see you just as you are.

Fame and fortune and Vogue await. Maybe.
