What's Your Favorite Sixteen Candles Line?

Posted By on Fri, Aug 7, 2009 at 1:42 PM

Legendary movie director John Hughes died yesterday. Hughes directed and/or wrote such classic films as Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

But my favorite remains Hughes' first bit hit, Sixteen Candles, in which the foreign-exchange student Long Duk Dong renders his "no more yankey my wankey" line.

Got a favorite Sixteen Candles line of your own? Or another favorite quote from a John Hughes' film? Leave it in the comments section below.
