Three People Shot, One Found Dead in Separate Incidents Last Night

Two women were shot last night around 10:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of Selber Court in north St. Louis.

According to police, four subjects in a dark green four-door vehicle came to a stop at the corner of Selber and Goodfellow. From the driver's side window, one of the suspects in the car "yelled out something referencing a gang." Witnesses then heard a shot.

A 22-year-old female near the scene was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital in stable condition. A second victim, described as a 48-year-old woman, was grazed in the cheek by a pellet and also taken to the hospital. The suspects' vehicle was last seen going north on Goodfellow towards Natural Bridge.

In a separate incident, police report getting a call at 3:51 a.m. this morning alerting them to a body found on the ground in the 3600 block of Cottage near N. Grand Avenue.

The victim, described as a black male in his early 30's, had been shot once in the throat and was pronounced dead at the scene.
