Photos: The Vital Voice's Coming-Out Party at Sol Lounge, 1/6/09

It wasn't long after former publisher Pam Schneider announced The Vital Voice was ceasing publication until 2010 that news came out about a new publisher taking over the reins at the magazine.

St. Louis' only Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgendered magazine held a "coming out" party of sorts Wednesday night at Sol Lounge in Midtown, hosted by new publisher Darin Slyman, a.k.a. "D'Sly".

Photographer Steve Truesdell was there and brings back more than 30 photos from the party. Here's his slideshow
