Prosecutor's in Greene County, Illinois, say they'll seek the death penalty for the callous murder last month of 72-year-old Carol Andrews.

Andrews was found dead March 19 in her Roodhouse home -- some 60 miles due north of St. Louis. Police say her mouth and nose had been sealed shut with duct-tape, causing her to suffocate to death.

Charged with three counts of first-degree murder is Myra Osborne, a 51-year-old woman who once worked at a convenience store managed by Andrews.

As the Alton Telegraph reports this morning, Osborne allegedly used Andrew's debit card to make purchases at a Roodhouse business the day before the murder.

Osborne turned herself in last week. In addition to the murder charges, she's also been charged with residential burglary, unlawful use of a credit card and receiving the debit card of another.

The first hearing for the case is slated for the end of the month.
