Who's it gonna be this week?
  • Who's it gonna be this week?
You know the rules: Read the following credentials and then cast your vote for the person whose words or actions you think made them the biggest Ass Clown of the past seven days.

And the nominees...

1. Lewis Greenberg: The Ballwin resident sentenced to 20 days in jail this week after refusing to follow a court order to clean up the "art" in his front yard that he considers a tribute to the Holocaust and his neighbors consider an abomination.

2. Jonathan Katz: The Wash U. professor was tapped Monday as one of the Obama administration's "best scientific minds" to investigate the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Two days later he was dismissed from the committee after revelations that Katz describes himself as "proud homophobe" and describes global warming as "probably good for humanity."

3. Jay Nixon: The Missouri governor made headlines twice this week for his behind-the-scenes political maneuvering. On Wednesday Nixon's appointees to the St. Louis police board orchestrated a coup to replace Todd Epsten as president of the commission over objections of Mayor Francis Slay. Also this week, bicyclists enthusiasts accused Nixon of killing the Tour of Missouri because of a grudge match he has with Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder.

4. Danny O'Guin: The Baptist preacher accused of scamming his congregation out of thousands of dollars in personal loans.
