Toldya So! Former Ladue Police Chief Feels Vindicated by AG's Racial Profiling Report

NEW OFFICIAL STATS SEEM TO BOLSTER LARRY WHITE'S CASE
  • New official stats seem to bolster Larry White's case
Larry White must be smilin' today.

He's the former chief of police that's suing Ladue, insisting he was canned last year for refusing to crack down on black drivers and for disobeying requests that he look the other way when Ladue residents appeared to be driving drunk or breaking other laws.

KMOX.com has looked at the stats just released in a statewide traffic stop report from Attorney General Chris Koster's office, and they're now reporting that
traffic stops of black drivers in Ladue fell to fewer than 900 during Larry White's tenure as chief, compared to 1,300 the year prior to that and 1,100 after White was ousted.
While the numbers appear to prima facie support White's account, Ladue's current chief lawman Rich Wooten told the radio station those numbers are also affected by how many officers are deployed.
