Racquet Club of St. Louis Warns Members of RFT Feature on Bishop Martin Sigillito

Posted By on Wed, Aug 4, 2010 at 1:30 PM

Clayton attorney and American Anglican bishop Marty Sigillito stands accused of running a $45 million Ponzi scheme that fleeced regular Joes and members of the St. Louis Racquet Club alike. He's currently under federal investigation. For more, see our cover story, "White Collar Crime," out on newsstands this week.

On Monday, the Racquet Club of St. Louis sent the following letter to all of its members:
Daily RFT has to wonder: what does Boldt mean in the first paragraph when he writes that the club "neither condones this behavior nor had any participation in its activities?"

Is he talking about Sigillito's behavior? Or this newspaper's behavior?

That's not a cheeky question. We genuinely want to know (and can't call to find out, because as the letter states, the club is not commenting).
