We here at Daily RFT certainly don't condone a massive burning of Qurans -- as is being orchestrated by some lunatic preacher down in Florida.

That said, among all the coverage of the Rev. Terry Jones' Quran burning planned for September 11, have you also come across the story of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani?

She's the 43-year-old Iranian woman who is sentenced to be stoned -- per Islamic law -- for allegedly committing adultery.

Iranian officials put her on state-run television last month where she confessed to marital infidelity and playing a role in her husband's murder. Her attorney says she was tortured for two days before the confession. She's already received 99 lashes in prison, according to reports.

So, one wonders, which is the graver sin? A book burning in Florida or stoning a woman to death in Iran? God, err Allah, are you out there?
