Christopher Ewing: St. Louis Homicide No. 84; Body Identified in Vacant Lot

St. Louis police have identified the body of a young black male found Monday in a vacant lot in the 1500 block of Mallinckrodt (below) in north city.

Christopher Ewing, 22, died from multiple gunshot wounds to the face and head. Police believe the shooting occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Sunday night and 12:30 a.m. Monday morning. Ewing lived in the 5200 block of Thrush a couple miles from where his body was discovered. An investigation is ongoing.
