Yesterday was the start of the Grapefruit League season for the Cardinals. The club lost 6-3 to the Florida Marlins.

The good news: Redbird newcomer Lance Berkman looked strong, going  2 for 2 with a home run. Pitcher Raul Valdes, starting for Adam Wainwright who had season-ending elbow surgery yesterday, wasn't too hot. He allowed four runs on five hits in just two innings.

But the best news today is that, unlike yesterday, you can listen to today's match up. The broadcast starts at 12:05 p.m. on KMOX.
