According to police, witnesses say they saw people run from the scene but gave conflicting statements about the description of those individuals. Police do confirm, however, that the fire at Cox Coin Laundry and Storm Auto Repair appeared to be intentionally set.

We regret passing along incorrect information. Original post follows...

Word is that the suspects who torched a north St. Louis laundromat and auto-collision repair shop this morning accidentally caught themselves on fire when starting the blaze.

The fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of Natural Bridge. Officials tell KMOV that two suspects were taken to the hospital for injuries. No word on their current condition.
