Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now!, had University of Missouri - Kansas City professor Judy Ancel on her show yesterday.

As you likely know by now, Ancel and Don Giljum, a professor at University of Missouri - St. Louis, were targeted last month in a highly edited video appearing on the website of right-wing blogger Andrew Breitbart. The video showed Ancel and Giljum allegedly telling students in their labor relations class that violence was an acceptable part of worker-employer negotiations.

Giljum was forced to resign because of the video and was later arrested when things got heated after another conservative blogger confronted him on UMSL's campus. (The university has since issued a statement calling the the Breitbart video "highly distorted" and "taken out of context" and offering Giljum the option of possibly returning to the school.)

The Breitbart video also provided fodder for conservative pundits across the nation, including St. Louis' own Dana Loesch, who vilified the professors on her radio show.

On yesterday's program, Goodman and Ancel did a good job of outlining the controversy and separating fact from fiction. Ancel also fingers the person who allegedly provided the video to Breitbart. His name is Phillip Christofanelli, a senior at Washington University who was enrolled in the class at UMSL. Christofanelli is member of the conservative Wash. U. club, Young Americans for Liberty, that's had ties to activist James O'Keefe, the man behind the ACORN and NPR hit pieces.

Anyhoo, following is Goodman's interview with Ancel. It's worth your time to give it a watch.
