Lamar Howell: St. Louis Homicide No. 50; Shot Multiple Times in the Chest

Lamar Howell, 41, was shot and killed on the 3100 block of Arsenal, just a half-block west of Gravois, last night.

Howell, who also lived on that block, was shot multiple times in the chest around 9:30 p.m. His body was found in the street and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, he'd suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

Witnesses told police they saw a black male shoot Howell before fleeing the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
