John Lee Kennedy: St. Louis Homicide No. 57; Dies at North City White Castle

John Lee Kennedy, of the 3800 block of North 25th Street, died last night after being shot just blocks away from his home in the Hyde Park Neighborhood.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Kennedy was at the intersection of North 21st Street and North Florissant around 11:55 p.m. Thursday when he was shot multiple times. The 32-year-old was then able to run a short distance to the White Castle restaurant (above) at Hebert and North Florissant where he collapsed and died. An investigation is ongoing.
