Remember the story we told you about yesterday?

You know, the one about the woman who said she was carjacked by two men wearing "Police" T-shirts? At the time, the real police found her story a bit strange, but nonetheless were pursuing the woman's leads.

And guess where that led them? Right back to the source.

Today the St. Louis Circuit Attorney charged Jacqueline Perry of the 1400 block of Pennsylvania in south city with filing a false police report. According to police, the 43-year-old was not carjacked as she claimed early on Wednesday morning. Instead, she gave away her vehicle to settle a drug debt.
